Sisters Anna and Santina have always felt a special bond to their Woodbridge community. Since opening Zero 20 Kids in 1983, they have participated in countless fundraisers for local causes.
Over the years, Sick Kids Hospital (burn department) was the recipient of over $20,000. When news broke that Vaughan would be getting their own hospital, and that they needed donations to furnish it, Zero 20 Kids put all their fundraising efforts into helping.
Children are the reason Zero 20 Kids exists. Babies are the most vulnerable, and incubators are lifesavers. Anna and Santina committed to raise $40,000 to buy a much-needed incubator for the neo-natal department.
Since then, there have been many fun events to help raise funds. The most successful was their gift bag program. Clients can have their purchases gift bagged for a minimum donation of $1.00 that goes directly towards the incubator.
To date, $25,000 has been donated. Zero 20 Kids will continue to fundraise until the last $15,000 is raised.
Anna and Santina wish to thank everyone who has helped achieve this milestone and hope we can count on your continued support.
